PESCADO project organizes International Conference on Aquaculture Caribbean in Dominican Republic

The PESCADO Project (www.iaa.do), which is one of the 47 projects funded by the ACP Group of the European Union, framed in the successful Edulink II program, invites to the International Conference Understanding the Caribbean Aquaculture, which will be held on 2nd and 3th November 2016 at the Universidad ISA (www.isa.edu.do) in La Herradura, Santiago, Dominican Republic.

This conference will bring together renowned scientists, including Prof. Brian Austin, Professor Emeritus of the University of Stirling, with the conferences entitled "Modern Approach on Aquaculture II" and "Developments in the Understanding of Fish Diseases"; Dr. Aweeda Newaj-Fyzul, with a lecture entitled "Key Issues on Tilapia Production, Development and Opportunities" and Dr. Elroy Charles, Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry, University of Guyana, who will present the main results of the PESCADO Project in Guyana and the conference "Academic Programme at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry of the University of Guyana and Opportunities for International Students".
